Meaning of Mantra
I Am Bliss
Mantra is a Sanskrit word, comprised of the root words “manas” meaning mind and “tra” meaning vehicle. So a man-tra is literally a “mind-vehicle” or a way to transport us beyond our thoughts. A mantra can be a powerful, affirming statement or simply a collection of resonant symbols with no literal meaning. Mantras derive just as much power from what they steer you away from—busy, swirling thoughts—as they do from what they might steer you towards. Traditional Sanskrit mantras, including the primordial sound of “Om” which students chant to open and close yoga practice, are said to be especially potent because of the vibratory quality of the syllables in this ancient language.
Mantra Skincare believes in the power of mantras, to affirm positive self-talk. It's not always about what you put on your skin. That's why we chose our name. When you look in the mirror, tell yourself "I am worthy, I am beautiful, I am empowered," you begin the process of changing your receptors in your brain towards a more confident you. When self-dialogue is loving and kind towards yourself and say beautiful words of optimism and positivity, it shows. Chose a personal mantra to inspire you to be your best self.

Our Purpose
They say to follow your bliss. So, we did! We are two soul sisters who share the same passion about life and especially good skincare. We grew our friendship when we worked together here on Maui. Our talks about skincare and how hard it is to find good products that actually work, that are clean, vegan, fair-trade and the importance of self-love is what gave us the idea.
Mantra Skincare was born out of passion for the best anti-aging skincare we could make. We use oils and they're our favorite products to use because of their ability to heal, nurture and nourish your skin. Our mission is to educate women on the healing powers of oils.
We make our products with love in our hearts and gratitude for the chance to make your skin glow. Your skin is your biggest organ and we are passionate about what we put on it.
We also care deeply about empowering women to rise and be the best version of themselves. We chose the name Mantra Skincare, because we feel that when your self-talk is loving towards yourself, it empowers you to do great things and be more confident. And that shows!
We give back, from the heart, and our proceeds help sponsor Women for Women International, a women's human rights organization that works towards empowering women around the globe to rise up.
